Our school serves the Iethkabi, made up of the Bearspaw, Chiniki and Goodstoney Nations. We are proud to  foster  a deep connection to Indigenous culture, community, and land. What We’re Looking For:

  • A valid teaching certificate (or eligibility to obtain one in Alberta).

  • A commitment to student-centered learning and the ability to inspire curiosity and critical thinking.

  • Enthusiasm for creating engaging, culturally responsive lesson plans that connect to the diverse needs of our students.

  • A collaborative spirit and willingness to learn about and integrate Stoney Nakoda culture into the classroom.

  • Strong interpersonal skills and a desire to connect with the school community.


What You’ll Do:

  • Teach a Grade 4 curriculum with a focus on literacy, numeracy, and Indigenous perspectives.

  • Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment where all students feel valued.
